Narrated Abu Bakr bin Abi Musa:
My father said, "Allah's Apostle (saw) said, 'Whoever prays the two cool prayers ('Asr and Fajr) will go to Paradise.' " [Bukhari]
The Fajr and Asr prayers are mentioned specifically in this Hadith. These 2 prayers are hard to pray, and even if we do pray them, we often fail to pray them on time. Not only that, but most of us give the least amount of concentration on these 2 Salah. We don't get up right away to pray Fajr, wanting to sleep every minute that we can. Then when we stand for prayer, it's as if we're still sleeping while we're praying. Then, Asr time in the evening is when business may become busy for some of us, or it's when we're playing or when we have our own free time, so we put keep putting off Asr. When we do pray Asr, we want to pray it fast to get it over with. This may not be the case for all of us, but for many, Fajr and Asr are the two most difficult Salah to keep up with on time. In this Hadith, glad tidings of Paradise are given for those who observe these 2 Salah consistantly and with devotion, Insha'Allah. May Allah make it easy for us to observe all of our Salah on time.
